Before I moved to KSA I sat down and really thought about what I wanted to do when I was here. I knew I wanted to make the most of my life here, I wanted to experience the rich culture of the Middle East, to experience a new culture to the fullest. In order to do this I made a bucket list of things that I wanted to experience. Topping the list was “attend a Saudi wedding.”

This Friday I am attending a Saudi wedding, except I’m not attending it as a guest.

I’m the bride. 

Somehow I managed to get married before actually attending a wedding here. I have no idea what to expect, but lucky for me I have 5 sisters-in-law to help me (and by help me I mean pretty much plan everything and let me show up and take credit.)
