My year in Saudi working for Al-Khaleej Training and Education has finally concluded, and I am safely home in the states. But that doesn’t mean I’m not returning to Saudi. I plan on returning this fall but working as a direct hire for a different university.

Did I want to leave Al-Khaleej? Honestly, no. The company was really nice, the housing was amazing, the salary was great, and I really enjoyed the job. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to place me near my husband, and only seeing each other after a 4 hour drive every weekend just isn’t fun. Had they been able to transfer me near him, I would have stayed with the company for a few more years.

I still want to blog and update you all, but some of my posts will be from a retrospective point of view until I return in September.
