The other day while walking around the mall with my husband, he got a craving for something sweet. While standing in line and waiting for him to buy some desserts, I happened to spy something I’ve never seen before- chocolate baklava. I’m usually not a huge fan of sweet foods like baklava, but I do love me some chocolate. I wasn’t about to pass up the opportunity to try this unique food.

I’ve had regular baklava before, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect with the chocolate baklava; however, I was in for a pleasant surprise as it tasted a bit like brownie batter.  It would be hard to eat more than a few pieces, though, because it is a very sweet food.  With that being said, I do prefer it to regular baklava.
